Anime Runway
Combining two of my favorite things: anime and fashion. A personal project where I illustrate some of my favorite anime characters in the latest fashion trends. These illustrations were not for a commission client but out of creativity and to showcase my love for digital illustration, anime, and fashion. Check back and see if I've styled your favorite character :-)

Naruto

For the characters from the popular series Naruto, I wanted to focus on high-end fashion brands that are world-renowned for their iconic logos and monograms, paralleling how these characters are loved among fans for their memorable character designs.
I drew inspiration from Kim Jones' Pre-Fall 2019 Men's collection as well his custom designs for the Kpop group BTS that features utilitarian designs with a fashionable edge and flare.

Shikamaru in Balenciaga
Fruits Basket

Because the character design and personalities in the bittersweet shoujo anime Fruits Basket is centered around the zodiac animals they possess, I wanted to convey that through creating modern day outfits and brand that highlight each of the main character's charms.

Yuki in Ralph Lauren
Attack on Titan

Featuring the main trio from the complex and mind-twisting universe of Attack on Titan, the focus of these drawings are to reflect what I envisioned these characters to wear in the modern day, while still pulling from their original character design colors.
Eren in Prada and Nike

Mikasa in Chanel and Balenciaga

Armin in Dior and Dolce & Gabbana
Haikyuu!!

For the characters from the volleyball series Haikyuu!! I oriented the designs to focus on different stances/body positions, as well as varying styles that the characters would wear in day to day life when they are not on the court.
